Service 02 / Applications

Software that fits the way you work.

Turn a repeated task or a difficult customer journey into software built for the job. We create web and mobile applications, connect existing systems, and shape workflows around the people who use them.

Build around the work, the people, and the data.

Useful software begins with a clear problem. We look at the steps people take today, where information lives, and what needs to happen when something changes. From there, we can plan a customer portal, a mobile app, an internal tool, or an integration that removes a specific point of friction. The first release focuses on a workable scope, with the business rules, access, data handling, and handoff defined alongside the interface.

What we can help with

A practical scope.
Built around your needs.

Workflow planning and prototypes

Make the important decisions before a larger build. We map the workflow, identify roles and business rules, and use early screens or prototypes to review the approach.

  • Current workflow and problem definition
  • Feature priorities and release scope
  • Screen flows and interactive prototypes

Web apps and customer portals

Give customers or staff a place to complete tasks and find their information. The experience can bring accounts, requests, records, orders, or event activity into one useful interface.

  • Account and self-service experiences
  • Dashboards and record management
  • Forms, requests, and status tracking

Mobile applications

Put the right parts of a service on a phone. We plan the mobile experience around how it will be used, which device features matter, and how it connects to the wider system.

  • iOS and Android application development
  • Mobile access to shared business data
  • Notifications and device features where needed

Internal tools and automation

Replace repeated handoffs with a workflow people can follow. Tools can support operations, approvals, scheduling, reporting, or routine data processing with clear rules and review points.

  • Operations and administration tools
  • Approval and task workflows
  • Scheduled jobs and reporting automation

APIs and system integrations

Connect the application to the services and information it depends on. We define what moves between systems, when it moves, and how errors or missing information should be handled.

  • Custom APIs and backend services
  • Payment, messaging, and business tool connections
  • Data imports and synchronization

Data, access, and handoff

Make the underlying system understandable and maintainable. We plan the records, permissions, validation, and operating notes needed to support the agreed application scope.

  • Data models and validation
  • Authentication and role permissions
  • Deployment, operating notes, and maintenance planning
When it’s a good fit

Does this sound
like your business?

  • A business handling the same process across spreadsheets, inboxes, and forms.
  • An organization that needs a customer portal or a staff operations tool.
  • A service with a useful mobile experience for customers or field work.
  • A business connecting separate systems or extending an existing application.
Your project, step by step
Good to know

A few useful answers.

Have a different question? Let’s talk about your situation.

How do we know whether we need a custom application?

We start with the problem and your current tools. An existing service may cover the need, or a small integration may be enough. Custom development is useful when the workflow, user experience, or business rules need something more specific. That decision is part of scoping.

Can you connect software we already use?

Yes, where the systems offer suitable access through an API, export, or supported integration. We review their documentation, permissions, and limitations before defining the work. We also plan how to handle failed transfers, duplicate records, and changes to the source system.

Can you build for both web and mobile?

Yes. A project can include a web application, a mobile app, and shared API services. We decide which tasks belong on each surface and which data or rules should be shared. A phone-friendly website may also be enough when an installed app does not add useful capabilities.

Can we start with a smaller project?

Yes. We can focus the first release on the main workflow and the few features people need to use it. Additional roles, reports, integrations, or automation can follow once the core experience has been reviewed. The plan should make those boundaries clear from the start.

How are accounts and access handled?

We define the user roles and the information each role needs to see or change. Authentication, permissions, validation, and relevant privacy requirements are part of the application scope. Existing identity providers or account systems can be included when they fit the project.
